Julie started her career in photography just after leaving school back in 1984 Her first job was a trainee on an old YTS (youth training scheme) Training Photography & Journalism, "Oh what fun we had!" She then went on to study photography at Wednesbury photographic college, after gaining qualifications she reluctantly entered into Wedding photography, but realised how enjoyable weddings could be. She went onto work in several portrait/wedding studios; this is why she is a dab hand & enjoys commissions of executive portraits of MD's & admin staff etc.

Her real dream came true when she started working at dpix, over seven years ago. (How long?) As she always dreamt of working in the commercial world of photography.
